Bionika · Granada

Before making your insole, we need to know exactly how you walk.

Not by eye. Not by guesswork.

At Bionika we analyse your gait using Footscan technology, a platform with 16,384 sensors that captures the real pressure map of your feet as you walk.

The study is the tool. The insole is the solution.

The gait analysis is not the final service. It is the starting point that allows us to design an insole truly tailored to you.

Without real data on how you walk, any insole is just an approximation.

With Footscan, we work with objective information: where you carry more weight, how your foot moves and which areas need correction, offloading or support.

Without Footscan analysis

A general approximation

An insole can be based on shoe size, a visual observation or a general impression of the foot.

It may bring relief, but it doesn't precisely respond to what happens when you walk.

With Footscan analysis

Design based on real data

We design the insole based on the real pressure map of your foot.

Each area responds to a specific need: offloading, support, correction or stabilisation.

Objective data

What the analysis reveals

Objective data that guides every decision in your insole's design.

Where the real overload is

We see which areas of your foot bear more pressure than they should. That's where we design the necessary offloading.

How the foot rolls when walking

We analyse whether there is pronation, supination or incorrect weight transfer.

Whether both feet work equally

An imbalance between both feet can cause recurring discomfort in the knee, hip or lower back.

What the foot does in motion

Many problems don't appear when you're standing still, but while walking. That's why dynamic analysis is key.

Protocol

From the door to the insole, no mysteries

A clear, step-by-step protocol, in a single visit.

  1. 1
    Step 01 · 10–15 min

    We listen to you first

Before switching on any equipment, we talk with you: where it hurts, since when, what footwear you use, what activity you do and whether you have medical or podiatric reports.

  2. 2
    Step 02 · 5 min

    Static Footscan

You stand on the Footscan platform and we see on screen, in real time, the pressure map of both feet.

  3. 3
    Step 03 · 10–15 min

    Dynamic Footscan

You walk on the platform at your normal pace. The system records how foot contact evolves from heel to toes.

  4. 4
    Step 04 · 15–20 min

CAD design on your real foot

Using the real image of your foot, we design offloads, supports, correction wedges and stabilisation areas.

  5. 5
    Step 05 · 10 min

    Zone-by-zone material selection

We define which hardness goes in each zone: softer where cushioning or offloading is needed and firmer where correction or support is needed.

  6. 6
    Step 06 · Bionika workshop

Manufactured in our own workshop in Granada

We manufacture your insoles in our own workshop. Your digital file is saved for future replacements or adjustments.

Frequently asked questions

We answer your questions

It depends on the type of footwear. During the visit we analyse the shoes you normally wear and adapt the design to real use: everyday, sport, work or specific.

Have you been putting up with that pain for a while?

There's no need to keep trying solutions without knowing what's really happening when you walk.

At Bionika we analyse your gait, design your insoles based on real data and manufacture them in our workshop in Granada.
